BLEACH Hollow Ichigo

Ichigo Kurosaki is a teenager with a bit of a bad attitude and a very short temper. Regardless, he fights others to protect ghosts. (Yes, he could see them.) He kept to himself a lot and do not like to open up to others. Deep down, he does not care about the people around him, even Dad, who likes to roughhouse with Ichigo.

He is sometimes called "Strawberry" because the kanji for his name, Ichigo, also means strawberry. However, in episode 21 when Ichigo fought Jindanbou, security guards of the Gate of the White Way in Soul Society, Ichigo claims that his name translates to "number one guardian" (ichi - first / best, go - "guardian angel").
Ichigo's zanpakutō named Zangetsu ("Moon Cutter"), though he did not realize this until he began training under Urahara. The shape unawakened very large and bulky, but it's not as good compared to other sealed zanpakutō because Ichigo's inability to control his own spiritual power (the sword form shown above). It is not clear, however, until his encounter with Byakuya Kuchiki, who cut most of the blade. Furthermore, training with Urahara allowed Ichigo to finally relate to reawaken the spirit and power of the Soul Reaper zanpakutō. Advanced training forces Ichigo finally learned - and call out - his name, so the resurrection. Since then, Zangetsu always assumes at least released [Shikai] country because of an overabundance of Ichigo's spirit energy (this is the form shown in the picture nearby). Special attack called Getsuga Tensho ("Sky-piercing Moon Fang"). Once again, Ichigo did not recognize his name until he speaks to the spirit of Zangetsu, who notes that knowledge of the techniques affect the strength.

Thanks to the help of a device that Urahara, Ichigo is also one of several Soul Reapers not have achieved the rank of captain of his zanpakutō final release [bankai] - Tensa Zangetsu. What's strange is that most bankai reach out and turn into great shape - it compresses all the power * in * (sword itself compresses to the size or traditional Japanese nodachi Longsword). So instead of releasing new attacks, Tensa Zangetsu improve what already exists, from the natural physical ability (given the speed that can exceed the flash step) to his attack Getsuga Tensho (which benefits both power and control) and even his clothes (which converts into a black coat similar to that worn by the spirit of Zangetsu).

Because Urahara training Ichigo who took to the edge of a Hollow, that Hollow personality remains in him and will appear at key moments during the Soul Society arc to protect the lives of Ichigo. It also risks that arise if the energy of his soul destabilizes - which tends to happen when Ichigo is demanding the release of final use.
